Schätze,  German for "treasures",  was founded in 2010 and now occupies two storefronts on the Courtyard at 6 Camino Otero in Tubac, AZ. The original shop offers jewelry, gifts and home accessories. The new "2Back Rooms" offers larger furniture and artworks.

It is my deepest pleasure to introduce myself, Irene Diaz, the proud owner of Schätze. I've been in the rustic furniture, antiques and collectibles business for over 7 years. What I enjoy most about what we do is finding, collecting and showcasing treasures that even the most novice collectible consumer would love to own.

I've been an Arizona resident for over 23 years and live in Vail. I retired early from the University of Arizona after working in a financial role. When I am not hunting for furniture, antiques and collectibles, I enjoy spending time with my family and grandchildren, trying new recipes, gardening and running.

Wally Rinow, who will be assisting me, has managed his own insurance agency for 21 years and retired last year. He was a little anxious to do something different with his extra time and decided to help with the business.
